When posting goods to move, the more flexible you can be
with collection and delivery times, the more interest your
posting will get from our couriers, helping you to get the
job done as quickly and cheaply as possible. Are you available before you go to work? Can you take an hour off work in the day to meet the courier? Can you leave the goods with a neighbour? Can you take them to work so the courier can meet you there?
Encourage the receiver to also be flexible. Make sure when you agree a job with a courier, you also agree a delivery time with both them AND the person receiving the goods.
Be realistic with your pricing. Our couriers are looking to supplement their income by returning towards home with a load as opposed to empty so will do the job cheaply, but they will not do it for nothing.
It is important to remember that if the receiver is paying the courier, they know how much to pay and they have the means to pay it.
Most couriers will not accept a cheque and very few have the facility to take credit or debit card payments, so it is always best to have cash, again if the receiver is paying them make sure they are aware of this.
When you agree a job with a courier, it is very
important that
you ask them for their Driver
ID and assign
the job to them immediately. Log-in to your account, go to the ‘My Jobs’ section and click assign, enter the Driver ID and verify the couriers’ details are correct. You can then enter the agreed price and any other terms, the courier will receive confirmation of the job including all the relevant details.
This will remove the job from our database, avoiding further phone calls from couriers and will also give you the option to print proof of collection and proof of delivery forms.

Job assignment is designed to protect both you and the courier and is a vital link in the chain. By not assigning the job, the courier can not leave you feedback. A higher feedback rating will generate more interest from couriers and help you to secure the best prices and services in the future.
